Description
Hexagon ROMER Absolute Arm 7730 portable measuring arm (type RA-7730-4), built in December 2016: a six-axis portable CMM with a 3.0 m measuring range, ±0.040 mm volumetric accuracy and 0.026 mm point repeatability. The arm weighs 8.3 kg.
Absolute encoders, so it measures from switch-on with no homing. Zero-G counterbalance for one-handed use, carbon-fiber tubes, a main axis that turns without a stop, and audio and vibration feedback in the wrist. Built-in work light and camera.
The FP2+ Mobility Pack+ (2017) runs it on batteries over Wi-Fi, and it mounts on the included magnetic base or tripod.
Sold with PC-DMIS measurement software, a laptop set up for the arm, ROMER RDS control software, probes and extensions, a calibration sphere and bar, and a transport case. Ex works Yambol, Bulgaria, plus VAT. The arm can be demonstrated at our plant by appointment.
