You will prepare, fit and finish metal parts and structures to the drawing, in steel and stainless steel, for European equipment manufacturers. Yours is the last operation before welding or assembly, so the dimensions and the fit have to be right before the part moves on.

- Finish metal parts to the drawing — grinding, drilling and thread tapping.
- Assemble and fit components together to the drawing.
- Prepare parts for welding or assembly.
- Work with hand and power tools — drills, angle grinders, taps and bench vices.
- Check dimensions and workmanship before the part moves to the next operation.
- Follow the process sequence and the safety rules.
What we are looking for
- Experience as a fitter, or in similar production work.
- Good hands and an eye for detail.
- Responsibility and discipline.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Being able to work from technical drawings is an advantage.
